Avalon Airshow – March 2025
The Avalon Australian International Airshow and Exposition 2025 was held in Geelong, Victoria from 25-28 March 2025.
The international aerospace and defence exposition is the southern hemispheres largest trade exposition for Australia's aviation, aerospace and defence industries.
The Department supported six Tasmanian organisations with existing interests in the aviation, aerospace and defence industries to exhibit at the event. In addition, seven Tasmanian organisations attended as trade visitors.
The 2025 event saw 60,000+ attendances across the trade day sessions. The Tasmanian Defence Advocate and the Department facilitated connections and meetings between Tasmanian exhibitors and key stakeholders such as the Australian Department of Defence, Austrade, aerospace and aviation industry primes.
