A full year of free public transport across Tasmania

Tasmanians have been using public transport on buses and ferries in large numbers since the Tasmanian Government made public transport free, delivering a significant cost of living measure. Free public transport applies to all general access and dedicated school bus services as well as the Derwent Ferries, meaning Tasmanians across the state will benefit. Public transport will remain free across Tasmania until 30 June 2027.
