The Tasmanian Space Technology Seed Fund aims to grow Tasmania's space sector, drive innovation, strengthen industry collaboration, increase investment, and create new skilled jobs for Tasmanians.
The Tasmanian Space Technology Seed Fund is providing grants of between $25 000 to $100 000 to eligible businesses to support research and development projects that seek to extend, adapt or develop new products or services for the space economy. See Grant recipients.
The Tasmanian Space Technology Seed Fund will allocate up to 50% of the eligible costs for projects of up to 18 months in duration.

To develop a software platform designed to help governments anticipate the financial and socio-economic impacts of climatic disasters. The platform will leverage Geoneon’s solutions fusing satellite data and socio-economic indicators. It will translate satellite analytics into actionable insights enabling
stakeholder collaboration, progress tracking, outcome improvements, and community awareness.
