Gulfood - February 2025
Trade Tasmania, as outlined in the Tasmanian Trade Action Plan 2024-25, continues to support emerging and export-ready Tasmanian businesses with opportunities in key markets through trade and investment missions, events, and global programs.
Gulfood is the world’s largest food and beverage sourcing event. In 2025 the event showcased more than 1 million products from than 5,500 exhibitors, from over 129 countries, in 24 halls. Approximately 87 per cent of buyers who attended the show purchased onsite or are following up on leads.
Gulfood 2025, held from 17 to 21 February at Dubai World Trade Centre, provided an opportunity to connect Tasmanian producers with suppliers, distributors, wholesalers and industry leaders. It also provided a platform to explore the latest trends and innovations shaping the future of the food and beverage industry. The highest amount of interest generated in Tasmanian products was from countries including India, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
