Our regions and their industries are the engine rooms of our state. Each region has strengths and advantages, with significant potential to attract new investment, expand business and drive their economies forward.
Strategic regional partnerships are intended to set a long-term framework, vision and direction for planning and land, to deliver stronger regional economies and communities.
By working with stakeholders in these communities, with industry and local government, these partnerships will capitalise on the unique strengths in our regions, to make sure they are places where people have everything they need to thrive.
Two memoranda of understanding (MOU) have so far been signed, to develop strategic regional partnerships for the long-term prosperity of our east and west coasts.
