Tasmanian Exporter of the Year Grant

The winner of the 2026 Tasmanian Exporter of the Year award will receive access to a grant of up to $10,000 to assist them increasing awareness of their products and brand and growing their export markets through exhibiting at an international trade show or event or joining a Tasmanian Government trade mission. • The grant of up to $10,000 will be available to the winner of the 2026 Tasmanian Exporter of the Year only (the “eligible business”).
• The eligible business will be required to submit a brief project plan for the activity, at least 6 weeks prior to the activity commencing, to the Department’s satisfaction.
• In relation to joining a Tasmanian Government Trade Mission, the recipient will be required to submit to, and be approved through, any relevant Expression of Interest process.
• The activity must occur in the 2027 calendar year.
• The eligible business will be required to enter into a funding agreement with the Building Tasmania.
• The recipient will be required to report on the outcomes of the event, including any trade outcomes.
• Payment of the grant will be made in two parts, with $5,000 payable on execution of the funding agreement and the remaining amount of up to $5,000 payable on delivery of a final report and acquittal to the Department’s satisfaction.
• Further terms and conditions will be negotiated with the eligible business.
