Singapore and Indonesia Trade and Investment Mission 2026

From 22-28 April, the Honourable Guy Barnett, Deputy Premier and Minister for Small Business, Trade and Consumer Affairs, led a trade and investment mission to Singapore and Indonesia.

Singapore was identified in the Tasmanian Trade Strategy 2019-2025 as a priority market for broad engagement across key sectors. Indonesia was identified as a key market for targeted engagement. Both countries rank among Tasmania’s top twelve for goods and exports.

The mission comprised of a full meeting program in both Singapore and Jakarta, including support for 11 delegates from 8 businesses as they sought to enter, re-engage, or expand their trading relationships with these important international markets. The mission also supported an additional 14 delegates from 11 food and beverage businesses who exhibited as part of a TASMANIAN contingent at Food and Hospitality Asia 2026.

The mission included broad trade and international relations engagement across seven sectors:
