FOODEX Japan – March 2025

FOODEX Japan 2025 took place from 11 to 14 March.

This year marked the 50th anniversary of FOODEX Japan, one of Asia's leading food and beverage trade shows. The event attracted over 72,000 visitors (wholesalers, manufacturers, retailers, trading companies, hotel-related suppliers, buyers, etc.), 3000+ major global brands from 70 countries across four days.

The Department supported Tasmanian businesses with existing representation in Japan, to consolidate their market presence at FOODEX Japan 2025. The Tasmanian booth was situated alongside Austrade, AUSVEG and other Australian states in a co-located Australian Pavilion. The Tasmanian Trade Advocate – Japan, Mr Joe Gayton, and Tasmanian Trade Representative – South Korean, Mr Jean Ough, were in attendance to represent and highlight Tasmanian products and produce available to Japanese consumers.
